Advanced Hindustani Classical Vocal Course (2 Years)

A comprehensive two-year program crafted for students with a solid foundation in Hindustani Classical Music. This course aims to elevate your artistry by deepening Raag knowledge, enhancing taan control, refining voice culture, and building confident stage performance skills.

Learning Journey

  • In-depth Raag exploration and development
  • Mastery of Paalta, Chhota Khayal, and Bada Khayal
  • Advanced techniques in Taan, Vistaar, Bol-Baant, Bol-Banao, and Tihai
  • Training in Sur–Taal balance, voice modulation, and improvisation

Raagas Covered

  • Yaman
  • Kafi
  • Bilawal
  • Bhairavi (followed by one Bhajan or Ghazal)
  • Asavari
  • Khamaj
  • Bhairav (followed by one Sufi or Qawwali)
  • Purvi
  • Todi
  • Marwa

After completing these Raagas, students begin Bada Khayal practice in Yaman, Bhairav, and Asavari, along with training in Thumri, Bhajan, Sufi, and Filmi Classical compositions.
